One of the most common problems that I hear from golfers is that they are fighting a slice with their longer clubs, most notably, the driver. It is the longest club in the bag with the least amount of loft, so it will tend to produce the most sidespin, and for most golfers that means a slice. For some golfers, it’s an easy fix. We may have to adjust their grip or alignment or something simple like that. But for a lot of slicers, the problem is a path or angle of approach problem, and that is a tougher habit to get out of.
