2008 Open Championship Poll Results

First of all congratulations to Padraig Harrington for defending his title in such adverse conditions. Great story lines occurred throughout the event. From Rocco Mediate being tied for the lead after the first round. Greg Norman being the leader after 54 holes. Norman set a record as the oldest player to hold a 54 hole lead. Harrington was contemplating withdrawing from the event due to a sore wrist.

2008 US Open Playoff

Chances are this one of the most memorable US Opens to date. A David versus Goliath 18 hole playoff which turned into a see saw battle from start to finish. In the end Tiger beat Rocco Mediate in the first hole of sudden death to win his 14th major title. Even though Rocco did not win I can see has gained a lot of confidence and can see him playing well for the next few months. Rocoo kept an unbelievable positive throughout the round and should be proud of the way played in this US Open.

2008 Masters Poll Results and How They Finished

Congratulations to [tag]Trevor Immelman[/tag] for winning the [tag]2008 Masters[/tag] and his first major tournament win. With only one real hiccup in the final round, the double bogey on 16, Trevor played very steady considering the pressure and the windy conditions on Sunday. I thought the approach shot into 18 was one of his best all day since the ball was lying in the back of a divot.
